On the 9.9th, the finale of the gentleman's game in horse polo took place at the Prague Polo Cup, held at the Chuchle race track in Prague. Followed by two days of intense, action filled competition between various clubs. In the final, six teams composed of players from around the globe tested their strength against each other. The teams were; Orchestr8, Noe Polo Club, Aviator Polo Club, Danube Polo Club, Prague Country & Polo Club and the winning team Panamerica with the handicap of +2. The handicap of the tournament was set to range from -1 to +2.
This Saturday, the 5th annual Prague Polo Cup 2017 International Tournament took place at the racetrack in Velka Chuchle. The pleasant sunny weather accompanied the Polo Tournament very well, which also reflected the rich participation and turnout of the general public as well, as invited guests from various Czech cultural scenes, representatives of international companies and lovers of the sport, all attended. Present ladies were adorned by beautiful sun hats and fascinators and the men in stylish suits.
The duels were moderated by Dean Bradford, not only a entertaining and skilled moderator but also a heart and soul polo enthusiast and player, who created a unique an adrenaline-packed atmosphere of "rock'n roll" in the Great Chuchle area.
Even though horse polo is still considered an unusual sporting opportunity and has no long history in our country, Prague, The Czech Republic has been registered among the world's top destinations, where this noble and royal sport is slowly but surely settling and the base of its admirers is growing.
